When will I receive my first envelope?

If you recently joined the Pray on Paper club, well... welcome! So, when will that first envelope arrive?

Answering this question is harder than it seems.

First off, we use USPS Forever Stamps. USPS states that a letter should arrive in 1-5 business days. I will share that it is sometimes longer. It happens.

Second, because we use Forever Stamps, we don't have tracking. Just the nature of the beast.

Third, when you receive your first envelope depends on when you sign up.

The cutoff for receiving this month's envelope is the middle of the month, usually around the 15th. If you sign up before then, you'll receive this month's envelope.

If you sign up after the 15th, your first envelope will be the following month's, which will ship out around the first of the month.

Here are some examples to illustrate:

• If you signed up on August 25th, your first envelope would have been September, which mailed out September 3rd.
• If you signed up on September 9th, your first envelope would be September, which would mail out before September 15th.
• If you sign up on September 18th, your first envelope will be October, which should mail out around October 1st.
